Mike Heger
Mike Heger of Waconia, Minnesota, a horticulturist and retired owner of Ambergate Gardens, plans to speak on “Companions for Lilies.” Ambergate Gardens closed in 2013 after 28 years of offering unusual hardy perennials. While operating Ambergate Gardens, he authored “Perennials A to Z,” an extensive series of articles originally published in Minnesota Horticulturist. He also has co-authored “Growing Perennials in Cold Climates,” a book written specifically for the colder regions of the U.S.
